Girl Scout sign up will be Monday, September 25th at 7:00 pm in the Norway Lunchroom.

Benton Homecoming is Friday, September 29. 
The theme is Bobcats of the Future.  Dress-up days are as follows:
Monday – Silver/Metallic Day
Tuesday – Parents Day (dress like your parents)
Wednesday - Grandparents Day (dress like your grandparents)
Thursday - Class Distinction
Friday - Show your Bobcat Spirit! Blue and Gold Day!

Picture Retakes are scheduled for Friday, October 13. If you would like photos retaken, return your original package to the photographers that day.  Any students who were absent will also have their picture taken.

Thank you for using the notepad handed out at open house to send notes for your child. We understand things come up, but if you know ahead of time, tell your child and send a note with them.  Delivering messages to the classroom is a disruption and cannot be guaranteed delivery after 2 p.m.

Please remember to save Hy- Vee and Big G receipts. Our school earns money to use for materials. 


A couple important reminders:
·      Students who are attending home football games will be asked to not play behind the bleachers.  There have been multiple safety concerns.  

·      When sending a check to school for lunch money, please write the student name in the memo line of the check.  If sending cash, please have it in a marked envelope with your child’s name and class.

·      Please call the office by
8:00 AM if your child is going to be late or absent. If you bring them in late they will need an adult to sign them in at the office.

Friday Oct. 20th Friday Note

Friday, October 27  is a  1:00  dismiss for professional learning.   Wednesday, November 1  is a   NOON  dismiss.    The schedule for next week: Monday  = Day 6 Tuesday  = Day 1 Wednesday  = Day 2 Thursday = Day 3 Friday = Day 4 We will have dress up days  for Red Ribbon Week, each day has a theme. They are as follows: Monday, 10/23 : Inside Out Tuesday, 10/24 : Wear Red Wednesday, 10/25 : 80's Thursday, 10/26 : Animal print Friday, 10/27 : Sports Day Cooks Choice for Friday,  Oct. 27 th  is: Popcorn chicken, chicken nuggets, or corn dogs potato wedges or onion rings cooked carrots and pineapple. Wednesday, October 18 th  is a  1:00  dismiss for professional development.
